AKAME,一家位於屏東鎮的現代台灣原住民餐廳。 AKAME 與文具和器具設計師 HMM 和台灣最大的玻璃回收製造商 Spring Pool Glass 合作,使 The Woven Plate 栩栩如生。

Woven Plate 是許多深思熟慮的創意,直徑 16 厘米的多功能盤子,融合了文化、環保意識和工藝。這件作品的靈感來自屏東,魯凱本土的編織文化。編織在土著飲食文化中被使用,在服務、電鍍和用樹葉包裹食物時使用。

AKAME ChefAlex 一直分享家鄉部落的熱情和文化。眾所周知,HMM是文具和餐具設計的前沿。 AKAME 和 HMM 隨後與 Spring Pool Glass 合作,使用回收玻璃材料製作了具有編織葉片設計的盤子,Alex 解釋說“通過烹飪和設計以及玻璃工藝來表達台灣獨特的品味和文化。”

產品通過Amber Glass展現編織設計的立體質感,用於表現光線的差異,強調設計的質感。琥珀也可以代表與地球和“始源”的聯繫。
Woven Plate 是 HMM 重視的現代簡潔設計。對主廚Alex而言,盤子裡不僅承載著美味,更承載著豐富的部落文化價值和美妙台灣的獨特多元特色。

AKAME, a contemporary Indigenous Taiwanese restaurant located in Pingtung Township has collaborated with stationery and utensil designers, HMM to partner with Spring Pool Glass, Taiwan’s largest glass recycling manufacturer, bringing The Woven Plate to life.

The Woven Plate is the creation of many thoughtful minds, a 16cm diameter and versatile plate that blends culture, environmental awareness and craftsmanship. This piece is inspired by the PingTung, Rukai Native culture of weaving which has often been incorporated into Aboriginal food culture in serving, plating and wrapping with Moon Peach Leaves.

AKAME Chef Alex has always had a mission to share the passion and culture of his hometown tribe and found HMM, well known as the forefront in design and development of stationery and utensils. AKAME and HMM then partnered with Spring Pool Glass, a previous and familiar collaborator with HMM. All three joined to create a vessel imbedded with the woven Moon Peach Leaf design using recycled glass material, which Alex explained as “Expressing Taiwan’s unique taste and culture through both cooking and design, as well as glass craftsmanship.”

The product displays the three-dimensional texture of the woven design through Amber Glass, used to express difference in light, shadow and to emphasize on the texture of the design. The Amber can also represent a connection to Earth, Nature and Beginning of Roots.
The Woven Plate is an embodiment of the contemporary and clean design valued by HMM and for Chef Alex, his values that the plate not only carries delicious food but also the rich tribal culture and the unique and diverse traits of wonderful Taiwan.
